Default PvP Additions: Warrior Arena - Elementist Arena etc.

I was thinking that having differnet Arenas (or something similar to this) based on your Primary Profession would be an interesting addition to PvP combat; only players of the same Primary Profession could enter a certain Arena located on the world map.

For instance, there would be the "Warrior Arena" where only Primary Warriors are allowed to enter and fight. They would have their own special maps: Warriors can have a free-for-all in a little Gladiator style map or go through obstacles to get to one-another.

The same goes for the rest of the professions. They would still keep the normal PvP Arenas where everyone can fight any class.

I think it's a good idea. (I would have expanded more on my idea but I'm to tired)

This would be a very interesting idea, since it would mostly bypass the inherent imbalances of duels in this game. It would suck to for the Monk Arena, since neither player could kill each other. Maybe there would need to be some sort of effect, like in Dragon's Lair, in order to streamline gameplay a bit.

ah, a Gladiator Arena! sounds interesting, but I think that only L:20s could do these arenas, in the same area as the HoH, to improve PvP replayability. All but the monks can use these arenas, as the monks just... kinda... suck in Class PVP fighting

Yes, only level 20's would be pemitted into the Arenas.

Hmm...the Monk would be hard to fit into an Arena ... So maybe instead of a Fighting Arena for monks there could Monk Arena (mini-game) where one Monk team trys to heal the most amount of "targets" in the alotted time while trying to beat the other Monk teams. The "targets" would have a constant health degeneration but cannot be targetted by damaging spells.

This could be a good place to practise healing/divine favour or protection skills. The first team that let's one "target" reach 0 health, that team automatically loses. If you want to Smite, you could Smite the other competitors that are healing thier targets. Meh, not the greatest idea for a Monk Arena but might as well throw one down.
